A 4 image panorama (then cropped) on a very windy day on Pensacola Beach, FL. Please view the LARGE version for better detail. Thanks for looking.

This is simply gorgeous, with the sand looking like snow if you don't look at the title first. Love the grass patterns and luscious light in the clouds. Really nice job.

Beautiful image Bill. I really like the colors in the sky and the white sand. The touch of motion in the sea oats definitely works for me, since it shows the viewer just how windy it was while you were capturing this image.

Beautiful image. I love the motion in the grass and the excellent color in the clouds. the tallest grass head has some pronounced motion to it but I think it adds a little drama to the scene. Great image

Wow, that sky is exceptional and is complimented nicely by the foreground sand and vegetation. The blowing grasses add energy to the scene.

Bill, What a wonderful scene this is. A beautiful sky and the motion in the grass really puts me right there. The large version does it even better and includes you to where one can feel the wind, sand and smell the ocean. :toast:

Bill, very nice image, superb sky exposure. I might try bringing up the exposure just a little on the bottom half. Wonderful scene. Keep them coming. :toast:

I helped my daughter move to Yulee a couple of months back, and sense I was flying back, I didn't bring my camera. Next visit I am definitely bringing it, Bill, just because your shots from there have inspired me. Lovely image and I really like the white sand.

Bill, you've got these scenes wired. The bent grasses and stalks really show the windy conditions. The movement is not a distraction here at all, in fact, one of those rare captures where the movement is part of the action and giving the "feel" for whats taking place out there.
Any ND used here? Not detectable, just curious as the exposure looks very good for the amount of contrast.

Gorgeous scene Bill. The mix of white sand, gorgeous sky, and wind blown grasses are simply beautiful.
