I actually did take images with Rhodydendrons when I went up north the end of May. I might have gone a little nuclear with the magenta??? And, I see here, it looks a little oversharpened too. The little one anyway. Thanks for looking.

Still buried with work and being out of town, but home for a night to restock the ice chest, and suitcase.

Sorry for the lazy title, but, I got nothin'!!!

I like this Chris. I think the flowers stand out nicely with the beautiful backdrop.

My eyes are too tired from staring at my monitor all day to make out any sharpness problems but I can tell this is gorgeous! I can make the larger version fairly well and the composition ans color mix looks great. The magenta doesn't look overdone to me; in fact, just right. I'll be able to tell more about the fine details tomorrow morning but from what I can see tonight, this is a real winner!

There is just something so soothing about the redwoods. This is really driving me to get back up there next year to catch the bloom. I'm sure this looks better in print, I don't trust the web too much for detail :)

I love the way you capture these beautifully misty forest shots Chris. The magenta flowers looks just right on my monitor. The softness and mystery of the bg is excellent.

It's morning now and my eyes are relaxed and fresh. The details look great and sharpness looks fine to me on both versions.

Chris, A nice, tranquil forest scene. The larger version shows more depth of course.

Amazing. What awesome simplicity and depth in this subtle light. One of your very best IMO.

It is such a quiet scene Chris. Something I can really use right now. Excellent how the mood comes right through.

Beautiful composition and subtle light. Just enough color in the rhodies to pull my eye to them.
