The End
by Luke Ormand
On my wife's birthday, we took a trip to Montauk (about 60 miles east and known as "the end" because it's the end of Long Island). It was a nice sunny day until we headed toward the point and the fog rolled in which made for an interesting scene over the water. Still very new to landscape and B&W so all critiques are welcome.
Nikon D7100 12-24mm f4 HH @ 12mm
f/14
1/60s
ISO 160 (should have bumped this higher for a faster SS)
Full frame, converted to B&W in LR4, "HDR" toning in CS5 among other minor adjustments

From a compositional standpoint, my eye tends to jump from the pinnacles to the bluff in the background. May I suggest that you crop from the right to eliminate the flat-topped part of the bluff. Doing so balance the comp, in my opinion.
The fog does give this a mysterious air.
