Thank you for your comments on my 'Bones of the Earth' image! This one is an older image from the Sierra East Side in 2008 that I recently tweaked for color and contrast.

After the heat, and the smoke from the wildfires, I am ready for Fall!

Wonderful little cluster of aspen tree boles here, Preston. Looks like you might have been doing a bit of positioning here & there to get each individual trunk into the scene, sort of providing at least a cameo appearance for each one. As usual the golds and greens are well brought out with the good ole Astia too.
Does the cyan look OK here in the upper whites of the trunks? I can't tell, seems just a bit there, maybe not. Regardless, an excellent scene well captured and processed.

Very nice, Mr. Birdwell. Quite a fine, simple autumn scene. It gets me in the mood for fall rather well.

Beautiful. Simple, and yet full of nice details. The elements come together just right.

Thanks for your comments about the cyan, Paul. I took a look at my master file and there was, indeed, too much cyan in the whites--fixed it on the master file.

Thanks for your comments, everyone!

Hey PB,

this is a classic - beautiful and wonderful rendition of the Eastern Sierra aspen scene. No qualms for me, although I think Paul has the good eye with a slight cyan in the upper trunks. Beautifully composed, well balanced.
