Giving consideration to the suggestions from my 8/16 post, I re-worked this photo changing the crop to add space behind the Bison and delete much of the snowy foreground. Would appreciate your comments on this version. Techs on 8/16 post.

Ralph, thanks for the repost. I really like the addition of space in behind, the red willow and gentle lay of the land are very attractive and the pano definitely gives a better sense of the environment where the wolf and bison live. Although this is my preferred composition of the two I do find that the three subjects are slightly centered horizontally. If you have any more space on the right side, adding back a little to the bottom, while cropping slightly from the left would be my preference. You managed very nice detail throughout the photo, would have been nice to have picked up a catchlight, or even an eye amongst the three. Gorgeous setting and subjects!

Interesting image, both of them! Great capture of two species who are intertwined. I guess I would favorite this version over the first, but no real reason. Thanks for sharing. I decided to take a second look, actually about a fourth look. And decided the first image, for me is the better. I like the way the grasses keep the image from whiting out at the bottom.

Excellent repost Ralph. The change of crop has transformed an interesting image into a much more dynamic one. :toast:

Thank you for posting this version Ralph. Both versions are excellent, but I am leaning toward this one. I agree with Gary, for I find myself wishing for a bit more on the bottom also.
