Thank you for your comments on my recent Rock Creek image! Back in July, Harley and I found this old Whitebark Pine snag in the Yosemite High Country. I am always amazed by the varied color and texture of old weathered wood. We had fun working in some detail shots of this fine old tree.

Lots of nice eye movement in this abstract with all of the angled lines and warm colors. Maybe my favorite part is that worm track in the lrc that looks like it might be a copyright symbol.

Beautiful lines and colors here, and so evocative of the high Sierra. Love the couple of little squiggles to add to the interest.
