I really like this one!! You have caught the goat in a very pleasing location. The goat seems at ease. I do not seen anything in the photo you could have changed to make it better. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Richard. Very nice setting, the foreground flowers and the pose of the goat are particularly attractive to me. You also exposed this very well and have carefully focused on the goat. So, I pondered is there anything at all that you could have done better? Perhaps approaching one or two steps closer and using a shorter lens, say 70mm on a 70-200, or even gone wide angle, shot it wide open and blurred the background. Maybe too formulaic but I kind of think it would have given that wow factor to the goat and flowers that are the crux of the image. I hate dragging along multiple lenses in a backpack, but sometimes it helps to have something other than just your long lens available to choose from.

Nice Goat photo, Richard. I like the flowers and the goat's pose. I guess if there is anything I would imagine changing, I wonder if a bit different angle would have included more of a flower slope. Great as is though.

Nicely done Richard by using the diagonal lines for composition. The FG flowers combined with tht grand habitat in the BG make for a visually very compelling scene.

Hi Richard,

Simply a very visually pleasing shot. A lot of subtle small things contribute to make this work for me - the DoF (and love that the entire foreground is in focus), the diagonal flow of the foreground patch of grass combined with the "other" diagonal provided by the distant trail, the relaxed pose of the goat, etc.

Well done!

Cheers...

Brad

Nice scene, Richard, and the harsh light was handled well. I would have liked to see a "Wider" view here... :wavey:
