Nice portrait and a nice shot of the visitor Ian. I think this works pretty well. Nice whites and details on the flower.

The whites are glorious and the details in the petals are terrific.

Ian - Beautiful frame. Great Whites with loads of texture and the Hoverfly adds another area of interest. Your work with Cosmos is always from the top drawer.

Beautiful whites! I might have cropped a little closer on the sides, but no cropping on the bottom

Like Nathan and Mark, I like the nice lines and detail of the elegant white cosmos, Ian. I like the bg although that I find the sharp change in the bg on the left side a little confusing. I also see a halo all around the edges of the petals. I like the inclusion of the hover.

Nice dof, Ian and a good angle. I like the two in-focus buds-they add a lot of structure to the image.

Beautiful white and details, Ian. The hoverfly is a sweet touch. The bud at the bottom is too close to the thin green frame. I would love an external frame, just personal taste.
