Government shutdown be darned. Rangers or no rangers, I wasn't going to let my North Coyote Buttes lottery permit go unused. (Seems as though there were actually extra visitors because they thought rangers *wouldn't* be there to check permits). I learned there was a ranger at the trailhead telling people not to go. Sad how this shutdown is impacting the livelihood of many photographers.

C&C always appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Terrific image Jared. The lighting is superb and shows off the fantastic swooping lines. :toast: Chet

I like the lines and color and the dark background. You might look at tweaking the sky color: It may need to have the cyan reduced. Nice image.

Gorgeous light and lines Jared. I might be tempted to crop the bit of blue sky though.

BTW - My husband and I were visiting the White Mountain National Forest these past few days for the foliage in New Hampshire (at peak). Gates closed at some locations to parking lots (rest room facilities at all closed except at the Appalachian Mountain Club run areas. Everyone still had access to trails even the permit areas. Sad how it maybe / probably is impacting employees of the US Forestry Service too.

Very nice image Jared. The side lighting really brings out the textures in the sandstone. I might consider cloning out the small clump of grass at the very bottom of the scene.

Lovely light to bring out those textures and colours. The scrub at the bottom is a bit untidy compositionally.
