The lighthouse sits atop some unique striated rock formations. Some of the areas can collect water from the changing tides and create some wonderful reflections of the light.

Beautiful Ed. I really like how the rocks led up to the lighthouse and the reflection in the pool of water below.

Excellent exposure and composition. The reflection really makes this one for me. Excellent job with DOF, I will add.

Ed, Great shot of Pemaquid Pt. Light. I was attracted by the same striated rocks leading up to the light when I was there, but I didn't come away with a nice reflection like yours.

I hope this doesn't turn into a Lowe brothers lighthouse showdown

. Actually I wouldn't mind seeing more lighthouse shots, so have at it.
