Last one perhaps. Next year I intend to devote much time to SOA and Abstracts. Plan to make some changes to the equipment as well.

14 commentsThis is my first comment on NPN after an absence of several months and I am sure glad to see this is one before I need to wait till next year to see more of your abstracts. Like the lines and the color. The challenges I have with making images like these are getting the light to be exactly right and focusing on a single line (which I cannot do without a tripod). Beautiful!

One small suggestion: I wonder how it would look without the oof pink petal in the right third of the image. I feel it is obstructing the most beautiful petal in focus that is behind it.
Either way, it is a very nice image. Great work!

Ram --> The wash was intentional, to give more emphasis to the flow. Some like the effect, some do not. Also the execution of these shots is extremely painful and usual technical excellence that we are able to carry out in traditional macro shots to some extent is not quite possible here for all shots. Your point is well taken and will make some shots without the foreground wash next season.

Love how it flows so smoothly, starting at the RT upper corner in the diagonal.
Wonderful blend of color, excellent abstract work!
