Great eye, Jim! This has that "art gallery" look to it -- simplicity, balance, detail, and realism without any in-your-face showiness or gimmicks. (Talents I am still trying to develop, so I'll keep watching, and trying to remember to stop on my way to the grand views I seem to be chasing.)

The lead to the Y works compositionally here well!

Beautiful autumn color and the Y shaped tree trunk is simply superb, Jim.

Scenes like these are usually just passed on by but you have managed to create a composition that reveals the beauty.

This is definitely gorgeous Jim, love the dead wood in the fg, along with the natural colors. Beautiful in every way.

Beautiful natural scene with very nice colors in it Jim. The tree is nicely placed and makes a great comp. Lots of details to keep my interest. Very nice image.

this is very nice. A beautiful lesson in realism. I love the dead wood and the split trunk. Good eye to see this and a fine image.

Love the contrasts between the fallen old branches, the V of the main tree, and the green and yellow foliage. Outstanding.

I agree with David,
The everyday person walks by this image seeing nothing, but you see a beautifully composed and well balanced image in nature Jim. The details and composition with the y in the tree, and the two yellow colored trees make for a sweet capture.

Love the FG, a sort of "ordered chaos" appearance. I also like how the red rocks of Zion appear through the vee of the tree. A beautiful capture Jim.
