Another from our recent trip to Ricketts Glen SP. There was a light drizzle taking place which produced a wonderful lush atmosphere for the scene. I had to crawl over some very slippery rocks and cover the camera with a microfiber towel as the water was dripping from the overhead rocks and down my back. I had negleted to bring my raincoat because the sun was out earlier and I did not remember hearing about any rain in the forecast. Worth getting wet for IMO.

As always thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestion.

Beautifully composed and processed. The thin fall on the right edge adds so much to the scene.

Love the soft light in the background - a painterly feel. Natural processing, thank god no cyan or blue water when the water isn't glacial! To be super picky, the little white spot on the right of the rock high up on the falls could be toned down a hair. While the falls are great with a nice leading FG, I am enjoying the top of the falls and trees the most. Well put together. :toast:

Very artistic waterfall image, Ed. Love the comp with the trees on top and the small falls on the right.

One of those rare photos that is just right everywhere you look—from the falling water timed just right to look like flowing sand to the leaf covered rocks in the foreground, to the sunlit trees in the background—just perfect! :toast: :toast:

Ed, gorgeous scene, love the glow, I have to say, beautiful in every way, you gotta love being out in conditions like this, by the way, I always carry a 2.5 gal storage bag in my vest, covers my biggest Camera, and protects it when I'm out in the rain. Excellent work.

Stunning image Ed. Beautiful composition, great soft light in the back round, and perfect exposure for the water. The extra side falls makes this image for me. You nailed it. Great job on the processing also. :toast: :toast:

Very nicely composed throughout. The haze in the background through the trees adds a lot to the mood of this image. I would only perhaps suggest a slight shadows adjustment to bring out a touch more detail.

One stunning image, Ed, absolutely stunning. Your composition is, as others have said, perfect. Don't see how this could be improved.

Nice image with beautiful light. In my opinion the composition is a bit imbalanced and could be improved by giving more space on the left side of the image.

Gorgeous work with this capture Ed. The comp is wonderful with the fractured rock boulders and saturated brown leaves bringing you into the scene. The waterfall and beautiful light make this scene a great treasure to enjoy. :toast:

This is a very nice image. The comp is multilayered and the light and the light, contrast, and color just right. I especially like the light up in the trees at the top. There's a glow that that's very appealing.

The glowing light above the falls takes this to the pure art category. As fine as any of the master's landscape paintings imo. Superb work! :toast:
