For some days we knew roughly where this cub was but could never find her, we did find its mum obscured by foliage. On our final night in Chobe there it was, a long long way from us , luckily it decided to climb a tree, in the growing darkness.
This rather a large crop it is 12.3% of original
EOS 1DX
200-400 mm with 1.4 EX at 560 mm
F 6.3
ISO 1600
1/400 (hand-held)

I think the image quality has suffered a bit due to the large crop, but a wonderful shot nonetheless. I better look at the little guy's face would have been nice, but sometimes you have to take what is presented.
