Chet, this is a really nice image. It must be a fascinating place. In my opinion it might even look better with the shadows lightened up a bit.

A very stark looking B&W image, Chet. This has a nice range of tones, textures and shapes; all complimented by those clouds. I would be curious to see this with a bit of shadow detail for comparison; but certainly not a deal breaker.

Chet, really like the tones, curves and texture, along with the sky and clouds, and your composition works beautifully. Very nice indeed.

For an even more powerful statement, I would suggest cropping the fluffy white cloud out, leaving just shadow and stone. It's pretty dramatic as is, too. Nice work

Very nice high contrast scene Chet and I like your composition. I might see a bit more shadow detail but very nice as is. Great job on this.
