Scott

Beautiful and nicely done! Only suggestion is perhaps consider trimming a tad on the left side. Good as it is though.

Scott, the technique you used with this image gives it a very 3D look causing the red colors to explode off the screen. Stunningly beautiful :toast:

Exquisite colour and softness, Scott - the fading of the petals into the background is pure visual delight. A real eye-catcher for me !!

Scott: I love how this fades into the frame and the center color and detail. I might be tempted to crop some of the empty space on the right so the frame was filled more with just the petals but this is beautiful as is. 2 thumbs up. >=))>

Just brilliant Scott! The colors are spectacular and the fade to the very nice complimentary background works really well. Great choice of dof. It works very well. Great work!

I love this one Scott. I have come back to it several times. I love the soft pastels on either side of the flower and the bright, punchy center. I almost want this one rotated CCW - have you tried it that way?

No, Nathan, that never occurred to me, but I think your suggestion has merit, and I'll give it a try. Thanks.

What a beauty Scott! A great shot, one of the best photo of the Dahlia that I have seen. Compliments.
Cheers.
