Interesting bird Sandy.
It's colouring blends in really well with the BG.
I've been looking at it and looking at it because on my monitor there seems to be a slight lack of sharpness on the plumage.
You might consider slightly darkening the pink area in front of the eye and also the bare legs to try and recover a bit more detail.

The brown earthy tones are really beautiful in this image and what an interesting looking bird. I might have left just a tad more canvas on the left side for him to look into and make the rest of the shadow visible.

Sandy,
Great looking bird and wonderful pose. The detail looks slightly lacking is this a large crop or the effect of looking at it in low resolution?
