That's one heck of a view Glenn! The scene as such is great, and that shaft of light adds some further magic to it.

That's a great shaft of light across the bg, adds some real drama to the scene. Beautiful fall color, of course and it's nice how the comp you've chosen funnels the eye directly to the peak.

This is a wonderful landscape with great elements. Color, comp, and light are terrific.. The shaft of light with tinge of color (sun dog?} adds to and already fine image. Chet

Beautiful shot taken at a wonderful time of year. I like the intense ray of light bisecting your image it creates further interest though it would look distinctly odd if the light ray had not managed to strike the tree line to help explain what in fact was going on with the mountain.

This is a beautiful collection of fall colors and shows how well they can look under overcast skies. The funnel comp. works very well and the shaft of sunlight is a great addition. Well done.

Fantastic scene and color Glenn. What a view of Sneffels. Contrary to the majority, I wrestle with the shaft. It's probably because my one-track mind is easily distracted, but I'd love to compare an image without it. Regardless, it's a winner of a shot.

I only wish we could see it larger so the light cutting through the middle did not look like a distraction. Sometimes when we make these images so small (because we have to for the forum restrictions) it is hard to make out what is going on...
