The soft feel of the mist with the power of Yosemite granite in the BG is exquisite. Nicely done Preston! :toast:

This is a very nice image, Preston. So many contrasts, in substance, color, texture and What the different elements symbolize, Time both fleeting and almost everlasting. Anyway nice job.!! Chet

Lovely rendition, Preston. Chet hit it on the head with his list of contrasts. This photo can keep the brain occupied for some time as it thinks about the associations present here and what they might represent. Very well done.

Great mood with this one, Preston. This has a soft delicate feel to it while preserving the rugged granite walls of Yosemite. The details are particularly nice in the large version.

preston, i like this - the colours, the atmosphere. i think i might have enjoyed it more if you had taken two steps to the right, eliminated that stuff on the left and had a simple, central composition?!? BG seems desaturated (i'd guess to bring up the tree colour)?

I'm really enjoying the colors in this Preston and the low lying fog adds a lot to the mood. Wonderful detail in the large version and a great job on this.

This really tells a story. I love the golden leaves against the very subtle coloration of the other elements. Brrrr, makes me cold looking at it.

How nice, Preston! I'm amazed at how much warmth those soft yellows add to what's nearly a monochromatic scene. This is lovely.

I think this might be one of my favorite Yosemite pictures. So nice is so many ways. The golden trees are a splash of cheerful color in an otherwise chilly atmosphere.

Nice one Preston, I do wish there was a bit more breathing room next to the bush on the right hand side of the image. I like the sepia-like tones throughout.
