I use dark vignettes so much, that I decided to try my hand at a white vignette for this little fella. I photographed him on a glass table, so the reflection is natural, not Photoshopped.

I think the vignette works well here, Lucy. It fits with the overall brightness of the image and the caterpillar's face and "fur". The cat.'s face is very neat, has me thinking of haloween. I do find myself wishing for a bit more dof to better see the fur and wondering what (if?) you could make the vignette a light gray rather than the stark white.

I like the entire presentation, Lucy. Everyone works toward the features and details of the CP's face. Very creative and technically well done.

Nice detail at the head/face, and the reflections bring a lot to this.
I like the centered comp and artful presentation also..
Well done Lucy! :toast: :toast: :

I like the negative vignette effect here. It work very well with the centered subject here, highlights it and draws the eye to the CP and its reflection.
