It was pretty chilly here this morning with temps around -10. When I went out, it was -4 and what a fun morning taking frost pictures! Here is a close-up of some weeds. But oh, so pretty weeds!

Nice capture of the magnificent frost, Christine. I like the frost detail. Good job braving the cold and shooting the unusual and striking weather conditions.

Lovely, Christine ! I think you've managed successfully to pull a motif out of a very busy scene, with perfect control of the lights and shadows.

I agree with both Scott & Ian, great job pulling out this comp Christine.
I especially like the few small specular highlights I see, adds a nice bit of color & 'sparkle'

That looks like some wonderful long frost crystals, sure makes me wish for a larger view to better see the details. Wow, -4 in Nov., that's cold!

Sparkling crystals well isolated from the busy scene. The light is great here. We have lots of snow and hoarfrost now and I have been planning on going out and get some shots, but either the light is poor or I am at work when the light is good. If this were mine, I might try a square crop placing more emphasis on the crystal covered twigs on the left half of the frame. Just a thought.
