Well, it was when this shot was taken in my garden earlier this year. Snowdrops are one of the first signs of Spring around here, usually appearing mid-March, and sometimes pushing up through snow. Powershot SX-30, macro mode, HH, ISO 80, f/2.7, 1/320, aperture priority. Used a wide-open aperture to get the smallest DOF possible with the small sensor in this camera. Comments and suggestions always welcome.

I remember Snowdrops in New England. They are a very interesting flower. I like your "in-your-face" view here with good dof on the petals and the arching flower stalk. I think that cropping out that almost complete flower on the left would add further to the dramatic look at this flower.

Love these little flowers. . .maybe because they signal the coming of spring. Looking forward to seeing these flowers again after we have "survived" another winter. . .which has barely begun in our area. I like your clear focus on the flower and the nicely blurred background. I think I agree with Mark about cropping out the left flower, leaves and all.

Nice details and exposure of the whites Jim.
Well composed with good BG separation, like the warm color also.
To crop or not to crop? Either way its a great shot..
