Like your verticle composition a lot and it's nice to see the whole plant for a change instead of the "head shots" that are more common. Sky is nice and clear without distracting clouds. Like the angle also; horizontal fence lines wouldn't have worked as well. Would probably have liked the flower a bit more to the right, lifting it above the fence a bit. Nice work!

Neat look at a paintbrush, Lucy. Because of your unique angle, it took me a bit to recognize the flower as a paintbrush. I do like this view and the clarity of the blossoms. I also like that you included the second flower stalk and the lower leaves. I agree with Jim that getting a bit more of the flower above the fence would be an improvement. Could you get lower and/or 6 inches to your left?

The unusual perspective of this flower from your low down POV makes this image an attention-grabber. The angled fence and blue sky make a great background too. Neat bug's eye view and perfect for the challenge, Lucy.

Great perspective Lucy. Nice splash of color and you handled the bright sky very well.

I like the very low POV looking up, and the diagonal fence-line Lucy..
All set against a great looking Texas sky too:smile:
Nicely done :toast:
