Nice image of this pair, Allen. You managed enough dof to get the rear duck in acceptable focus and I like the positioning in the frame.

Nice positioning of this pair! Like the water colour and reflections too.
There is quite a bit of noise in the BG that could be lessened..

Lovely shot, Allen, tack sharp on both birds and a nice positioning. As Sandy mentioned, some noise reduction (I assume that's color noise and not really funky water) and perhaps a lower angle would improve a strong image.

Nit: "Wigeon," not "Widgeon."

Good to get both in focus. I also noticed the noise in the water, but it should be fairly easy to bring under control. I agree on the angle, but I also know it is quite often dictated by circumstance.

A handsome pair, Allen. Both birds are sharp and you got great eye contact from each bird. In addition to the other suggestions I think a lower angle would have improved the shot.

Nice looking pair of ducks. Nice colors. I agree a lower angle, if possible, would have been better.

Nice composition and DOF. Angle and noise issues already identified. Thanks for posting, Dave
