Interesting pattern and brown-golden colors. It's definitely worth viewing the large image. Simple subject but very effective composition and presentation. I have tried my hand (eye ?) at taking photos such as this, but have never really succeeded. Thanks for sharing.

I agree Ram, this does "resemble rust on an iron surface" - As one might view it through a microscope..
I like the high level of detail & rough looking textures, well done!
