NPC#614 Deceptive Look

I was struck by the discrepancy as to the way my neighbor's incredibly sweet, female, older bull dog looks in respect to how sweet and gentle she is. Looks can certainly be deceiving!

Shot with a Canon T3i, Canon 100-400 L lens at 250mm, f5.6, 1/100, ISO 400

Sandy, this "guy" looks very angry, would not like to meet her in the dark corner  But joke by side, you have captured her from excellent POV. :wavey:

Thanks Miro, she is the most gentle creature I have ever met. She loves everyone and everything, but her look would sure be enough to give one pause! I thought of shooting her from a lower perspective, but I decided that the point I was trying to make would be best served from that POV and a full frame of her.

She would make a great bar bouncer! What a great look on her face.

Harley, also a great watch dog. No one would mess with you after one look at that puss!

Well, this dog is definitely standing her ground! Looks like she is thinking "I just dare you to try to get by me". If she is incredibly sweet and gentle, she certainly does prove that looks can be deceiving. Nice POV choice but wish her toe wasn't out of the picture.

Carolyn, darn - I didn't even notice the toe getting out of the frame! Yup, she is a sweetie. She might be saying, "I dare you not to pet me and give me a ton of attention and affection." She has a male bull dog housemate, but he looks pretty mellow!

Thanks Albert, I encounter the dog all the time when I am walking my greyhound (they love sniffing each other) and she makes me smile every time!
