The Chin - WC#614

The Chin was so named for the multi-colored chin he had plus his love for being rubbed there.

Chin was a feral cat that moved in on us. He was truly a brave soul as we had two Siberian Huskies that were quite aggressive towards cats. However, his determination and mine taught our huskies to tolerate his presences as part of the family.

Here he is while on lookout duty in his personal bunker located on our back patio. With him around we never had gophers, squirrels, rabbits, grasshoppers, lizards, or much of anything else invading our yard.

Thanks for the years of love and service Chin, you were the best.

I love this. Trust a cat to find a great spot like this.

This is great. I love the hiding spot and expression on his face.

This must've been one of Chins favorite spots to keep the huskies at bay?
It sounds like he kept a good watch over your yard, I bet ya miss em'.
Great shot, thanx for sharing this one! :wavey:

Hi Paul :wavey: Greatly enjoyed the story about Chin, and the very sweet shot of Chin in the patio vase, my wife just lost her cat last year, and knows how you feel.

What a great spot to be cozy but still oversee his territory! He knew a good home when he found it, so even some aggressive dogs didn't keep him from working his way into your family.
