Not quite finished with the Irises. Midday I have full sun streaming into the "studio" so it makes it ideal for backlighting. I liked the play of light and shadow on the bloom. Did open up the shadows a bit in CS5. All comments welcome.>=))>

Bigger is Better! … which is to say, View Larger version. I find the details of petal grit and sparkle with lines and texture to fill the scene…far more attractive than smaller option. Nice handling of the stark bright vs dark portions…. That said, the line along left side of green stem…I might try to mute a smidge…oh…if that isn't nit-picking…. Well done, Bill…Merry Christmas!

Bill - Another fine addition to your Iris Series. I like the shadow recovery here compared to the previous posting. The angle and the textures on the petals put this over the top !
