Flooded corn fields

We go to see the Sandhill Cranes in the central valley of California during the winter. The photo should have a sound track with it, to share the lovely symphony of the birds, which are so far in the distance in this photo that you can't see them. The sunsets here have been dramatic.

Canon 5d,M3, ISO640, 105mm, f/5.6, 1/320

Comments and critiques welcome.

Lovely sky reflections, great comp devoting this much space to them Kathy.
Add that sound track and I'm in heaven
Only suggestion's a 'teenie weeny' CCW rotation to make it perfect.
Well done :toast:

The foreground reflections are great and the sky colors very inviting. The stubble rows on the left work well for connecting the foreground with the distant sky. I watched Sandhill Cranes on my grandparents farm in western Nebraska and they do raise a neat ruckous.

This is quiet an interesting comp with the reflection...I agree with the CCW rotation.
