Sichuan, China

This lake probably is the most beautiful lake I've ever seem before. Differen green and blue color. This was in the mid-winter of Jiuzhaigou National Park. This is also the very first landscape images I took when I start shooting landscape photography. Any comments or critiques will be very welcome.

I wish it had more saturation.

Matt has a wish and so do I--I wish I was there to see it. How remarkably beautiful. Do you know what causes the colors?

Matt, your tongue is going to get stuck on the inside of your cheek.

Beautiful color in the water. This wouldn't be the lake they used in a fight scene in "Hero," would it?

The color contrast here is amazing. The green, cyan of the wateris well contrasting the yellow and blueish background. Also the reflections and the look beyond the water's surface is interesting. Great scene

Thank you guys!!
Matt--I would give it a try maybe, but personally I think this saturation level looks good for my taste. Thanks for the advise.
Jim--The reason that causes these color is the high concentrated Calcium, Carbonate and other minerals, and also the algae in the lake. I only saw two places like these include this one and they both in China.
Morris--Actually they used the fight scene in other lake, not this one. But definitely is in this national park.

I tend to oversaturate as well... but I do think that Matt has a point in his comment that you could reduce the cyan and blue saturation. I think it would enhance the shot a lot

Wonderful colors in the water and a beautiful scene. Maybe a little blue in the back round for me but very striking as is. Great job and seems like a wonderful place.

The colors are a bit strong for my taste but it's a stunning image.
