The Royal View

This image is from a high mountain pass in Kananaskis Country. Taken in the fall, as the vegetation changes into a gold for a brief time. Colors are intensified by worm light of setting sun.

Thank you for having a look and leaving a comment.

Lots to like here Wieslaw. Love the layers and various diagonals in the image. Makes for interest in the scene. You got some wonderful light and certainly makes the FG vegetation vey warm looking. It is very rugged looking country and you showcased it very well.

Wow, amazing view, Wieslaw. I really like how you have conveyed the scale of the mountains. The lighting also creates nice separation of the ridgelines. Great work!!

What I like about this is that it's beautiful, and yet realistic. I'm tired of the over-saturated super-HDR look, and this looks just like it would look if you were standing there. Even the slight changes in the haze show up. Lovely view, too.
I swear, those Canadian mountains have a specific look to them. Nicely done.

The light along the ridges makes this shot! So much depth and drama. No nits at all, fantastic work

Nice layers and light through the scene Wieslaw and a very natural presentation. The fore ground colors and light are especially nice. Great job. :toast:

Gorgeous light. Love the rich colors. I want to see this in a pano format for more of the contrast between the gentle sloping foreground and jagged peaks, which really works well in this image. It's great as it is, though, and seems to tell a little story about this place. Nicely done.

The light, the layering, and especially the foreground are all sensational. I trust you have more images of the foreground lake and associated colors. Beautiful!!!

Really nice gradation of light and focus from fg to bg. Touches of water just right.
