Looking back at some of the images from Bosque del Apache last January and I ran across a series of this pair in perfectly synchronized flight. This was my favorite. No adjustments to the white balance-this is the light I had.

1Div, 500mm f4 ISL + 1.4TC, Black Widow on Gitzo legs, f7.1, 1/640, iso 640, manual exposure. Minor adjustments in CS6, full frame. Taken January 20, 2013 at 7:24 am.

Your comments and criticisms are most appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Love the light in this image. The symmetrical wing position is very nice indeed. The background is very rich and pleasing. I hope to get to Bosque some day. Looks like you, and quite a few other NPN members, had a very good trip judging by all the great images recently posted.

Love the light. I also like that you have two cranes in the same position and that they are close together.
Sweet shot.
