Sony A77
Minolta 100mm macro
ISO 50, 1/6 @ f8

Our newest daughter in law gave this calla to my wife for Christmas. Just started working it today and have found a number of good comps to share. It was a bit tougher working with these than the irises since I can't arrange them but just have to take what is there. All comments welcome.>=))>

Love the frame filling contrasting purple and green colors, Bill. And the title. Well done.

Bill, cool Calla color combo! Hard to know where to stop with a bunch like this, but I think you did well with it. :toast:

Hey Bill,
I'll take what is there any day with results like this. The colors and lighting are first rate, the water droplet is perfect.
Your images are a real inspiration to view . . .

A bold and strong composition, Bill, with that tiny droplet a real bonus and some lovely rhythms along the leaf edges. I much admire how you've seen the possibilities here in such a crowd of callas !!

Bill, the colors are utterly gorgeous. Thumbnail shows it through to the larger version. The light on this works. Nice little jewel-drop too.

I like the depth from the directional light.

Fabulous. I've been trying to capture these for years but not quite there yet. I like the vertical crop but wonder if maybe it could use a little more space on either side.
