This is my cat, Lily. She's sitting in a window overlooking our leafless trees.... pawing a winter survivor from our garden. The weather is about 40 degrees outside, but she makes me feel all warm inside.

So cute! This illustrates typical cat behavior but in an artistic way. Great comp with the pose of the cat and the flower on the left. I like your DOF choice too. I love cats so this photo makes me feel all warm inside too!

what's so funny, is that I put the flower in the window, so I could take a macro shot of it. Lily had been watching and jumped right up to investigate. At first, I was annoyed that she was making my "subject" move around. Then I realized , that she and the flower were a better shot than just the flower. I got my macro later.....after I shooed her out of the room!

The details and warm colors in her fur as well as the action of batting the flower are great, Lucy. Definitely heart warming.
