Rhesus Monkey

I really like the subject and the composition. It is sharp and seems to be properly exposed. My only nit is the overall color seems to be off. Seems like there is a green cast to everything. Perhaps a white balance tweak would improve this already fine image.

Awesome subject and pose. You handled the light very well. The monkey may be just slightly low in the frame and might be nice to see the entire tail (read, go vertical format), but I'm sure you had good reason(s) for cropping/framing as you did.

The depth of field control is quite nice, with soft background, yet perfect detail on the monkey. I also like the little details for the eye to discover, like the spider webs, first over the eye, but then in the branches. The circular shape of the composition is quite pleasing and I did not find the missing tail to be an issue whatsoever. The slightly greenish tint is there on my monitor, but I attribute it to the reflection off surrounding vegetation. Sometimes I have removed such reflected greens when on white fur, but here I think it is less obvious, and easily fixed if you so desire.
