If you have ever been to the town of Banff in Alberta, Canada, you most likely recognize this classic view looking down the main street. I liked the architecture of the buildings, along with the clouds and mountains in the background. Memories of a great trip to the Canadian Rockies.

Sony P&S. 6mm at F/3.5 for 1/80 sec. ISO 100. Handheld, natural lighting.

Self critique: After I posted this, I noticed it needs just a bit of warming up.

Excellent clarity and vivid colors Carolyn, cool looking architecture.
Love the clouds/mountains in your BG, nice..
Great comp and you knew right where to stand too
Well done :toast:
PS - I don't think it needs warming, but that's just my two cents..

Carolyn, I think it looks fine as posted. The warm wood contrasts very nicely with the cool mountains in the BG. I think any further adjustments would be too much. It's very pretty and makes me want to visit.
