Hello Mario

My first time seeing this species! Well done...The water walking adds to the image and the head with wing as background shows off very well!

Thanks for sharing

Very beautiful bird in an excellent pose.
The bright white of the closest wing might be toned down a bit, and a slight CW rotation to level the water would be good.
Sandy.

Wow! What a bird...I didn't even know it existed! Wonderful pose! I think the rotation is ok...the reflections match up.

Good bird; excellent action capture. Whites on the top of the left wing might be a bit hot; certainly a loss of detail. But quite a good shot.

Very cool bird, Mario. I love the take-off position. As noted, the whites on the wing seem a bit hot-you might go back to the Raw conversion and play with them.

Wonderful pose with the reflection. What a interesting combination of contrasting colors and nice job in getting this.

Super! At the moment, I'm fixated on photographing black and white birds in bright sunlight. My congratulations on your photograph! In the circumstances, I don't think you could have done better with the blacks and the whites of the near wing. When looking at the reflections of the legs and applying the laws of Physics I'd say there's absolutely nothing wrong, and that's to within 1/2°. Regarding the rest of the reflection, it's a shame that the impending water ripples produced a 'fudged' effect. I haven't tried walking on water yet, but last year while birding in England, I walked on deep quick sand - I can't recommend it!

A truly "decisive moment". Nicely done.
