Winter Beauty WC 618

I had brought this potted African Daisy plant in from my deck last fall to overwinter in my greenhouse. Lo and behold, it started blooming a couple weeks ago. The whole plant isn't flowering yet, so I concentrated on just one. Post-processing in PSE included cropping to square it off, auto-sharpening, and I twitched the highlight slider a bit to increase the color. I was fortunate that today is overcast so there was bright, even light in the greenhouse. Comments and suggestions always welcome and thanks for viewing.

Very lovely image of this beautiful flower, Jim! I like the soft colors and your good processing. The square comp works great for this flower and the lighting worked well to make a nice evenly lit image. Well done!

That's a beautiful flower and you did a fine job at getting all of the details in both the petals and the central parts. The overcast light worked very will here. You've also got a nicely out of focus and complementary background.

Hello Jim, this is very pretty. Nice detail in the center and the whole flower. Pleasing color combo. Excellent work.
