Nice composition, with "realistic" processing. It appears to be over sharpened - more so in the background.

A convincing composition to my eye! I enjoy following the creek into the depth and to explore all the details of the surroundings. The crispness of your processing adds a lot in my opinion.

Love this long vertical view. A beautiful composition and landscape. I would agree that it seems a bit over sharpened in both versions.

That is really nice. I like the "feeling" in this. You definitely feel like you are in the photo. Like the DOF, too. Very easy to look at this. Nice.

Thank you all for your comments. I am surprised at the number concerning sharpness. I processed this no differently than the several others I have posted, and when I look closely at the posted photos I see no evidence for the traditional sharpening artifacts such as haloes around edges. Can anyone articulate what he/she is seeing that prompts these comments?

I like the POV, and the depth to the scene. IMO, the massive amount of detail in this image lends itself toward being hard to sharpen. For example, the rocks and water in the small image look fine to me, but it's the leaves and background forest that have a slight "crunchy" look (no haloes, but the distant leaves on the ground look slightly more like sand, or have a more harsh appearance). Sometimes I find it useful to select different areas for different degrees of sharpening. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with TK's resize/sharpening technique, so I'll stop here...

Thanks for including the large version for me to stroll around in!

Wonderful comp Ronald. My main nits are only personal preference things, well done.

On the sharpening, I'm seeing what Nathan is.

Very nice downhill flow to this Ronald and the colors and comp work very nicely. Beautiful scene you've captured.
