Much of my love for nature was kindled at this very spot on the Yachats Beach Road on the Oregon coast. My grandmother lived on that road and we visited from Indiana almost every summer. Times were slower in the mid fifties and early sixties and my parents thought nothing of letting me wander and explore the beach and rocks with my grandmother's faithful German Shorthair Freck as my only companion. I don't know how many sunsets like this I sat and watched. I never tired of them. My wife Chrissy and I return there every few years and were treated to this display on our recent trip in October. This time I came with a camera but the camera of my memory still works great whenever I think of this place. All comments welcome. >=))>
