Shoveler Buddies

I have been trying to get two of these guys together for awhile. For those of you who have tried to get two fast swimming ducts in the same frame and have both reasonably sharp, you know how challenging this is. The angle of the rear shoveler is not ideal, but I'll take it, as he is reasonably sharp. I loved the colors on these two guys, along with the beautiful amber water. As I've said in the past, Shovelers are underrated. They are beautiful ducks. Processed using Photoshop CS3, NR using NeatImage with final tweaking using LightZone.

Comments and critiques welcome.

To get these guys with their heads up out of the water is hard enough and as of yet I have not been able to get more than one in focus. Good Job.

Good job getting a nice image of two of these together! I like the color in the ducks and the water.

Nice, Jerry. I was trying to get some cooperative ones a couple of weeks ago as they are gorgeous, but they were just a tad too far away for good image quality. Nice job on these.

Shoveler's do have some nice colors and good job handling these color contrasts, way to go.
