Foreshadowing (AA #3)

This may be the last from this series. I like this one even though the comp is terrible with the rear of the right buck cut off. But I like the action and the background buck ready to take on one of the two bucks in front. Definitely like the foreshadowing in books, movies, and even the daily comics. Which is what happened and he pinned the buck as we saw yesterday. This image took a bit of work to get here. I cropped about 30% off the left and bottom. I cloned out a doe in the BG right behind the left deer as it distracted. I added small to med. positive increases to all of the various sliders except for for expsoure (-1/4) shadows, and blacks which were alos negative. I definitely find it improved but I'm sure there are still adjustments that can be made but are beyond my skill level at this point. Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.

Hi Peter,
Really like this one. the comp may be a bit off, but the subjects and action makes this one a keeper. Where you cloned out the doe is very noticeable. You might try to work that area over again. Also, I would crop a bit more off of the left side to give more balance. This has been for me anyway a very enjoyable series. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting photo Peter, the middle buck is reminiscent of a referee in a boxing match. I like that the middle buck is in the shade and therefore a bit darker. Any additional issues are purely compositional in my opinion.

Action, action, action. I have a bit of different take on this image (which I really like). I think the buck on the left is going to prevail-he is pushing the other backwards and ultimately his entire body out of view. Therefore the comp is right on.
