Good Find
by Luke Ormand
Kurt Bowman recently posted a photo of a gull with a starfish and I thought :how come I never see things like that". Well as you can see I stumbled upon just that yesterday when I was out in Montauk. Montauk is at the end of Long Island and thus gets the brunt of the oceans wrath and has a uniquely rocky shore. Sea stars commonly wash up here and as such Gulls frequently feed on them. This bird didn't get much more than a taste though as another gull came and harassed it until the prize was dropped and snagged by the instigator
