Reddish Egret #3

This is the same Reddish as the other two. On Sunday morning I went out there, but it was a bit breezy, so I went back to the motel, and around 11am I checked the weather and luckily the wind had slacked off to 5-6 knots. I normally avoid midday sun for most any type photography, but this pose appealed to me. About 90% of original to crop out a dark band of shoreline up top. Larger image included.

Lovely colors on this Reddish. Looks like Big Red from Ft Desoto! I like this pose and it works well in vertical format.

Nice, nice, nice! Love the low angle, shallow dof for isolating the subject. Elegant pose showing classic feeding behaviour.

Nice pose, great BG and excellent detail. :toast: His breeding color is really coming up. It won't be long before the blues start to peak in the lores.
