It is so tempting to shoot these beautiful colors in the sky every time I see them, but it is a whole other issue to find something as an anchor in the foreground, a lead or a strong silhouette that is of accompanying nature. I have my quick go to places for a happening like this. You have to nix the power lines for a start and then work on your FG, only then and with the right processing, will you get UU's and AA,s. Now I hope this will bring you a step in the right direction.
Greetings Louis

Steven - do you notice a difference in the quality of your images in terms of resolution, and the others that are posted on this site? Something is happening when you post images here. They are becoming pixelated. This has been mentioned before on a previous post. Try to find out what is going on, otherwise it's going to be difficult for anyone to critique your photos to help you improve.

Your enthusiasm for nature's beauty is wonderful.

Hi Steven - You my want to employ a wider angle in scenes like this to create and anchor as Louis mentioned and I am not sure what is causing the pixelated result that Rebecka mentioned. Post so technical info (ISO, shutter speed, f/stop) so maybe we can help you.

Lastly, I am going to move this to M&N gallery due to the presence of the power lines. In the future, you can clone them out.
