This shot was taken back in 2008 when i was there for vacation, I spent about 3 hours wishing for the weather to be clear or at last the raining is stopped to take few shots, well, it stopped for very short time, was enough for me to take few shots, and this is one of them, and i liked this tone.

Just great and moody, love the composition, triangles everywhere and the drama in the upper 1/3 of the image makes this a great take. I do wonder what a color version would look like. :toast: :toast:

B&W certainly works well here Tareq. Love the clouds and their reflection especially. The foreground works well too.

I've spent many days in Milford Sound - not by choice - and I firmly believe that Mitre Peak and Milford Sound look wonderful in most any conditions - the moodier the better. I particularly like your foreground in this image, and how your composition moves my eyes around the scene. Excellent.

Fantastic contrasts between the wonderful rounded rocks in the foreground and the extreme 'cragginess' of the mountains. excellent b/w work.
