Back yard encounter

Happened to look out a rear window and saw this Coopers Hawk sitting on an old wooden bench. Near it was a rabbit munching away on dropped bird seed. Quickly grabbing my Canon SX50 I thought I was in for a real photo op of the hawk going for dinner! The rabbit looked to be heavier than the bird and showed no concern about it. The hawk, did its part and ignored the rabbit. After a few minutes the hawk flew off, and I missed the take off, getting only its shadow on the fence. The rabbit continued to eat.

Canon PS SX50
1/200 @ f-5 ISO 100
Canon 4.3-215 @ 21mm.
Shot through glass, the rabbit in shadow and the hawk in bright sun. Not the best light.

I almost just ignored this. I'm glad I didn't. That is cool! That hawk is really mulling it over, by the look he's giving that rabbit. I say he's thinking, "I could eat off that for 2 months!"
I realize this wasn't posted on it's technical merit. Still, nice capture of a funny, unique scene.
