Frosty Morning

The temp was hovering just below zero. There was a fairly heavy fog that had lifted off the river and coated the trees with frost. The sun low and shining through the fog and creating some nice light. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Brrrr! Indeed it does look cold. Nice eye to catch this, Richard. Those kind of mornings the cold just seems to get right into you. I like your interpretation here. Just a suggestion of color and the light is really nice. Good job.

Lovely warm tones and crispness to those cold looking details. Compositionally, I feel that moving to the left would have given a touch more separation between the central tree and those behind it on the left for better balance.

The warm light in the cold scene works really well for me. The larger version brings it life, great shot.

Beautiful light and scene. Strictly a matter of interpretation, but I might warm it up just a bit? Still quite beautiful as is.

Reminds me of all the trees I saw this morning! Simple, but pretty. I might brighten it up just a bit and sharpen more for web presentation. :wavey:

Love the simplicity of your composition, and the touch of warm is especially nice. The dark tones of the tree trunks and that frost really make this work.
