With the proper tide it's possible capturing beautiful water aisles.
Canon 5DIII, Canon 17-40 mm f4L, 0.3s@f16 for the sea, ISO 100. Manual blending of two exposures. Please see larger version

I especially love the colors & contrasts of the background sky, clouds, rocks.

Colors of the foreground are very nice. Just my opinion......I would like to see a slower shutter speed, maybe 3-5 sec. with a ND filter to smooth it out the blur of the water more.

Still, really beautiful shot!

Very nice, Jose. I like the exposure for the water as well as that lovely aqua color. I also like how the V formation created by the sea-stacks lines up with the clouds. I noticed you even had a bird top off your composition above one of the clouds. Very nice!!

I really like how your work captures the power and energy of the water in contrast to all of the longer exposure images that I have seen. While both approaches are nice, I think one of the things that make your work stand out is the way that you capture the energy and feel of the water.

Maestro of the seascapes, I love the exposure timing, it brings out the energy in the flow of the water. PP great as always. :toast: :toast:

Gorgeous image Jose! I detect a slight halo over the rocks on the right but it's minimal. Overall, this is top-notch all the way! Love the detail in the rocks, and the sharpening is perfect!

Nice composition. Especially like the way the U shape of the clouds is repeated below them. Balances well with the energy of the water in the foreground.

Your seascape images are always spectacular, Jose, and this one is a perfect example. The textures and lines in the rocks and the always beautiful color and motion in the water makes this simply gorgeous. The large image is a feast for the eyes.

Yeah, excellent! Very nice all the way around, but the sky is really nice for the scene. Water motion looks good to me, even though I usually prefer a longer exposure effect.

Another beauty from you. I think you could give a tutorial just on taking photos of the sea because each photo you post is just exquisite. I am curious if you are standing in waist deep water, or if you just crop some later.

Many thanks to all for the comments. Kathy, I was with the boots in the water and waiting for the waves, this is the original composition

Good separation of the elements in the composition. Some nice drama in the scene and details in the foreground.
