Monstrous large falls on the Washington side of the Columbia Gorge.
Canon 5DMk2, EOS 16-35mm at 16mm, Polarizer. 2 vertical image pano. 3 image HDR for both. iso 200, f22, 1/4-0.5sec.

That's a grandiose scene and your chosen treatment looks pretty natural to me. I doubt it was possible to do so but the foreground vegetation and triangular rock seem to dominate the picture a little too much I have the urge to get that little bit closer to the edge and bring more of the splash pool into the shot. I don't think a simple crop off the bottom would improve it though.

Excellent take on Falls Creek.
As big as it is, it is tough to get all of including the upper section.
You have about the best view possible.

Nicely done... you hit the bullseye for shutter speed showing some nice action below. The HDR that mutes the sun beams is terrific too. This has balance in brightness to match the balanced compositon that includes the sun burst. I might like a little more on the bottom...tightly cropped... and then, boost the width a tad on left side too. Just my 2 cents.

Inspiring... wanna go see this!

Well that's a pretty crazy scene. Might want to come back when the sun is more over the falls as it wants to compete too much...pulling eye hard right away. Great job w/ the processing...looks rad :)

Spectacular! This is how HDR should look imo. Easily one of my favorites of yours if not the favorite. I have no suggestions, love it!

Great shot Daniel, I did notice some slight haloing around the trees in the larger version, could be web compression but it's worth a look. Can't wait to get to the gorge next month.

Daniel nice work with the pano here. This photo has so many nice elements to it. the smooth flowing water, the beautiful greens and great job capturing the filtered rays of light from the sun. This has a fantasy feel to it.

Once I opened the large version, the impact of the image came to life, this is meant to be viewed HUGE. The detail really brings out the feeling of power in the water. It's a little HDR-heavy but to me it adds to the feel of the image is a great way because this truly has an art/painted look to it. if I were to fix anything it would be to clean up a bit of haloing at the top center at the treetops, but even so it's not that noticeable especially with all you have going on here. The comp is superb. Truly stunning Daniel. :toast:

Great lighting and comp, which must have been challenging from this spot. Processing wise, I might suggest added contrast with some burning the left tree - appears a little washed out to me. Also the shaded trees on the upper right might benefit to from a little added contrast to darken the shadows and highlight the beams more. Pretty cool as is, maybe worth a try to see if much difference.

Excellent composition. I might tone down the bright areas of the right fall near the bottom. My eye seemed to go straight there and got stuck.

Spectacular. I haven't been to these falls in 10 years...gotta go back. I agree about the foreground rock and the sunbeam, but having the sun dead center or left might be worse. Maybe tone down the highlights in the center of the beam? I think the halo or ca's in the distant trees should be easy to handle if it's not just the compression.

Amazing. The angle low angle gives it a lot of power in addition to the water.
